Textile organizations have called an emergency meeting to review the deteriorating situation.

Chairman of Pakistan Caustic Soda Manufacturers Association–Mian Muhammad Idress confirmed the closure of caustic soda.

Idress said–this decision has been taken in protest against the reduction of import duties by the federal government.
