KARACHI: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) today imposed lifetime bans on Olympian Naveed Alam and Mansoor Ahmad for levelling baseless allegations.
The PHF announced this decision after a meeting of its executive board in Karachi.

Friday, July 17th, 2009BAHADUR KALEY: Atleast five people have been killed on Friday, when a US drone fired a missile into a suspected Taliban compound in Pakistan’s tribal belt near the Afghan border.
The missile strike took place in Bahadur Kaley village, which is 30 kilometers south of Miranshah.
According to security officials, the missile targeted a Taliban stronghold.
